As the battle between Loren Data and GXS continues, the rumor mill is in full swing. Recently we were passed a message from a GXS customer to their trading partner saying, “I recently learned from Loren Data they may not be transmitting data from/to GXS in the near future.” I’m not sure that is exactly what we said…read on. The current skirmish is over the ex-IBM Information Exchange (IE) network. Since 2000 there has been a standard, reciprocal Interconnect between ECGrid and IE.
